As people who have brain injuries or physical disabilities near retirement age, they may not be interested in working five days a week, but still want to keep active. Rise's team of certified brain injury specialists and program specialists assist people in increasing their independence and enhancing their development.
Rise’s Adult Day Programs offer a wide range of life enrichment activities on a customized schedule. These recreational, social, and creative activities, as well as the personal and medication assistance, provide people with opportunities to increase their personal choices, peer relationships, self-esteem, community skills and physical abilities.
Rise has four (soon to be five) Adult Day Program locations throughout the Twin Cities, including the:
- Emma B. Howe Northtown Family YMCA in Coon Rapids
- Fridley Community Center
- Maplewood Community Center / YMCA
- Mounds View Community Center / YMCA
- New Brighton Community Center (opening the fall of 2018)
