Knit Wits donate handmade creations to Rise Housing programs

The Knit Wits meet each week at Culver's

With their needles and yarn in hand, more than 50 women assembled at the Culver’s on Foley Blvd. in Coon Rapids for the weekly gathering of the Knit Wits.

For the past seven years, ladies have met to knit and crochet baby bibs and booties, hats and scarves, mittens, socks and slippers, laprobes and shawls, Teddy bears and dolls, and more. Some of their bounty is regularly donated to men, women, and children served in Rise’s Mental Health Housing Support Services. More >>
