Give to Rise

Your investment helps us put talent into action, one person at a time. Your gift to Rise will help support a wide range of programs in 16 Minnesota counites.

Rise is fiscally responsible — less than 10 percent of funds are used for management and fundraising, so at least 90 percent of your tax-deductible donation will go directly to programs and services which assist people who have disabilities and other barriers to housing and employment.

Honorary Gift

You may make your donation in honor of a special occasion, in memory of a friend or family member, to thank an extraordinary person, or simply to show your support for Rise and the work it does in the community.

When Rise receives your donation, an acknowledgement card with your message will be sent to the person(s) you designate. (The amount donated is never indicated.) You will also receive an acknowledgment of your donation for your records. To make an honorary gift, call us at 763-786-8334 or use our secure online donation form.

Planned Giving

You can make a tax-deductible planned gift to Rise, Inc. through a bequest, will, trust, life insurance policy, retirement account, or stocks and assets. For more information on planned giving, call Trudi Meloche, development director, at 763-792-2415.

United Way Donor Choice Program

Rise, Inc. is a United Way-supported agency and partners with the Greater Twin Cities United Way in many ways. Rise is a Caring Connection participating agency for volunteer projects. Link to Caring Connection at: http://unitedwaytwincities.volunteermatch.org/

GTCUW supports Rise’s Housing and Mental Health programs, as well as other employment programs and customized projects. Rise staff are long-term supporters of GTCUW and conduct an annual fundraising campaign to help raise money to support other local services and programs which strengthen and build a better community for all people.

As a tax-exempt 501©(3) nonprofit organization, Rise can receive donations through United Way campaigns. United Way pledge cards have a Donor Choice designation where donors can write in:

Employer Matching Gifts

Many companies match employee donations made to nonprofit organizations like Rise. Before you make your gift, check with your employer to see if they will match your contribution!
Organizations who have recently matched employee donations to Rise, Inc. include Premium Water, General Mills, 3M, Chicago Title, Deluxe, Ameriprise, and Thrivent Financial for Lutherans.

Rise does not exchange or sell names and addresses of our donors with any other organizations or companies.
