Art for Sale

Rise Inc.‘s Art Speaks program is offered to people participating in Rise’s programs and complements our therapeutic and habilitative services. Danelle Griner, art facilitator, guides and encourages to speak out through art in a range of media. Artists participating in Art Speaks may display their artwork in public, private, or corporate sites throughout the Twin Cities, such as shown here at Cummins Power Generation’s headquarters in Fridley.

“The process of creating art provides opportunities for self expression,” says Griner. “Behind each piece of art is a story. Through art classes and exhiitions, particpants experience the opportunity to find thier voice and share it with others. Creating art also promotes problem-solving and develops decison-making skills.”

Rise is offering 14” x 18” unframed posters of two artists’ work. You may give what you wish; a suggested donation is $15 for each print. All proceeds go directly to support the Art Speaks program.
Your donation, minus $9, is tax-deductible.

You may pick up the art posters at Rise’s corporate offices, 8406 Sunset Road in Spring Lake Park or have them mailed to you by calling Mary Kriz at Rise: 763-792-2448, to order. There is a $6 each shipping and handling charge per poster.
